Did Obama quote my article, Jon?

HAVE YOU READ Barack Obama’s speech he delivered in the University of Indonesia last Wednesday? Some said it was “really moving and somehow personal,” some cited the speech was “something coming from the heart.”

Well, whatever you think about the speech, I heard it was written by Ben Rhodes. Yep, it was Ben, not Jon Favreau, no, not Jon “the hot” Favreau — another speechwriter of his.

What, why, Anita, does it make any difference if the speech was written by Jon the Hot [is he married anyway]?

Personally, for me, it does! Because I have this crazy thought that Obama’s speechwriter or even Obama himself probably HAD READ my paper, specifically my article, and even used a quote from the article me and Armando (my coworker, we shared bylines in the article) wrote a week before Obama came to the country.

Crazy right? Yes, I am saying that Obama quoted a quotation in my article.

HELLO ALL. I have just shamelessly browsed some Eclipse. You know, I mean the Twilight saga. Sigh.

Please don’t get me wrong, I do think the Twilight saga is just… the most, [well probably not the most, or the most for popular films] shallow plot I have ever seen. With a young girl helplessly falling for a damn cute pale vampire. That her days are nothing without his presence, and she’s rather be dead without her super freaking cute vampire saying he loves her.

Wait, and that she doesn’t read or listen to some music or go to the cinema, and that she [I am pretty sure about this] doesn’t know Fareed Zakaria nor Max Keiser or Malcolm Gladwell or Joel Stein nor does she probably know Philip Glass, because the one that could dazzle her is only Edward Cullen.
